This data set contains information and locations of (E) Designations, including CEQR Environment Requirements (Table 1) and CEQR Restrictive Declarations (Table 2), in Appendix C of the Zoning Resolution. An (E) Designation provides notice of the presence of an environmental requirement pertaining to potential hazardous materials contamination, high ambient noise levels or air emission concerns on a particular tax lot.

This dataset contains the location of Newsstands.

Intersections where DOT installs signals that show a walk sign for pedestrians before showing a green light to vehicle traffic. The goal of these signals is to improve street safety by giving pedestrians a chance to establish their presence in the crosswalk before vehicles make turns across that crosswalk.

Bus lanes are travel lanes that are restricted to buses during certain hours of the day. All bus lanes have signs posted along the route with specific regulations; lanes marked "Bus Only" and /or painted red. Bus lanes help to keep buses from getting stuck in traffic, generally making travel for bus riders faster and reliable and improving the overall traffic flow of a corridor. Each record represents a segment of a bus lane based on the LION geographic base file of NYC streets. User may use the SegmentID field in this dataset to join with the LION data for more information.

Directory of Play Areas

The Wadsworth Center Rabies Laboratory collects submission data for all of New York State, except New York City. For more than a decade, the Wadsworth Center Rabies Laboratory has published monthly reports and a more comprehensive annual report as open access data. The purpose of these reports is to provide data to local health departments and federal agencies that may help in funding decisions, oral rabies vaccination strategies, and collaboration among agencies.

Additionally, it provides the public, including veterinarians and medical health professionals, with detailed information about the rabies virus in New York State.

2020 Neighborhood Tabulation Areas (NTAs) are medium-sized statistical geographies for reporting Decennial Census and American Community Survey (ACS). 2020 NTAs are created by aggregating 2020 census tracts and nest within Community District Tabulation Areas (CDTA). NTAs were delineated with the need for both geographic specificity and statistical reliability in mind. Consequently, each NTA contains enough population to mitigate sampling error associated with the ACS yet offers a unit of analysis that is smaller than a Community District.

Though NTA boundaries and their associated names roughly correspond with many neighborhoods commonly recognized by New Yorkers, NTAs are not intended to definitively represent neighborhoods, nor are they intended to be exhaustive of all possible names and understandings of neighborhoods throughout New York City. Additionally, non-residential areas including large parks, airports, cemeteries, and other special areas are represented separately within this dataset and are assigned codes according to their type (See NTAType field). The Citywide Mobility Survey is a mixed-methodology survey of New York City residents' travel choices, behaviors, and perceptions. The Survey Zones dataset provides the shapefile that shows which neighborhood tabulation areas fit within each of the ten survey zones.

GIS data: A specified area in which the Inclusionary Housing Program is applicable. The program modifies the floor area ratio (FAR) and offers a bonus for developments that provide affordable housing.

MINY Vendors

The boundary map shows radon test results by county. The test results are provided on a monthly basis to the Department of Health’s Radon Program from a contracted radon testing laboratory. The color grading of the counties represent the average radon level of homes tested in the counties. The radon test results illustrated on this map may not be reflective of all radon tests completed in New York State.

Provides boundary information regarding all scenic landmarks that have been calendared, heard, or designated by the Landmarks Preservation Commission, or for which an LP number has been issued.

This dataset contains the location of physical alarm boxes. It includes operational voice capable Emergency Reporting System (ERS) devices as well as pull-activated Box Alarm Reporting System (BARS) devices. Out-of-service BARS devices are not identified as such and may be included in this dataset. This dataset excludes the location of Class-3, Private Fire Alarm boxes.

This feature class is a spatial representation of the Sidewalk Cafe regulations in the New York City Zoning Resolution, Chapter 1, Article 4.”
