The 2015 Child Health, Emotional Wellness, and Development Survey (CHEWDS) was a population-based telephone survey conducted by the Health Department. The survey provided robust data on the health of children aged 0 to 12 years in New York City, including citywide and borough estimates, on a broad range of topics from health care access to nutrition.
